Basketball Courts There are 18 parks throughout the City with half or full basketball courts. All courts operate on a first-come, first-served basis during park hours. Grand Avenue Park offers three full courts with lights from 8:00 a.m. – 9:45 p.m. Some facility availability may change due to City programming. Skate Park The City offers a free skate park for skaters of all ages to pop ollies, grind rails, and practice kick-flips.The park is not staffed and users skate at their own risk. Protective gear is required. Daily: 7:00 a.m. – Dusk Pickleball Vellano Park offers four lighted pickleball courts. Lights turn off at 10:00 p.m. Grand Avenue Park also offers four temporary courts on the Roller Hockey Rink. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Special Event Permits Temporary use of property for special events including large events, religious events, school activities, etc. require a special event permit. Permit information can be found at chinohills.org/CHPermits . has been preserved in Chino Hills.The City has over 3,000 acres of open space and 48 miles of trails available for use and enjoyment.There are 16 trailheads that lead to 28 trails throughout Chino Hills. Roller Hockey Rink The City offers one (1) regulation-sized roller hockey rink with lights for people to enjoy.This rink is available for drop-in use as well as private rentals. Rink availability may change due to City programming or rental schedule. For more information, visit chinohills.org/RollerHockey . Sand Volleyball Courts Sand volleyball courts are available for park patrons on a first-come, first-served basis at Calle San Marcos Park, English Springs Park, and Skyview Park. Tennis Courts There are a total of eight (8) tennis courts available at three (3) different City parks. City courts operate on a first-come, first served basis.Availability may change due to City programs and classes. Locations: Crossroads Park - No Lights Grand Avenue Park - Lights off at 9:45 p.m. Hope for the Hills Park - Lights off at 10:00 p.m.

City parks and sports facilities are maintained year round and offer high quality amenities. All park facilities open 30 minutes before sunrise and close 30 minutes after sunset unless otherwise noted. No private lessons are allowed. For more information visit chinohills.org/ MunicipalCode . Gazebos T he City manages the use of 14 rentable gazebos which may be reserved for birthday parties, family gatherings, picnics, or other similar events for groups up to 50 people. Gazebo reservations are not intended to be used for fundraisers, special events, commercial uses (where a fee is charged or money is collected), activities that are “open to the public,” or events/ gatherings over 50 people. Reservation schedules are posted on the outside of the gazebo. If no reservation is scheduled the gazebos are available on a first-come, first served basis.
