GENERAL INFORMATION The Community Services Department reserves the right to cancel any activity or program due to low enrollment. If the Department cancels a program, all fees will be refunded. Activity, dates, times, fees, and locations are subject to change. Classes will not be prorated for late registration. Missed classes due to participant illness or absence will not be refunded or provided a make-up class. Please be advised there is a non-refundable convenience fee of 2.5% assessed on all credit/debit card transactions.This fee appears as a separate charge on your bank statement. Returned checks will be charged a $25 fee. Non-residents will be charged an additional $10 fee per person, per activity. NON-RESIDENT FEE A $10 non-resident fee applies per class for all programs unless otherwise noted. Certain programs, such as Day Camp,Aquatics,Tiny Tots,Adult Soccer, and Pickleball, may have a slightly different non resident fee per class. REFUND POLICY For classes with one or two meetings, refund requests will ONLY be honored if they are made at least one (1) day prior to the start of the class. For classes that consist of three (3) or more meetings, the refund request must be submitted before the second class meeting. Adult Sports Leagues,Aquatics, Day Camp, and various special event programs have a separate refund policy, please visit www.chinohills. org/Registration for full policy details. Refunds must be requested in-person by submitting a Cancellation/ Transfer Form.All refund requests are subject to administrative approval by the Community Services Department. Please allow up to six (6) weeks for refunds to be processed. Payments made via credit/ debit card will be refunded back to the original form of payment. Payments made via cash or check will be refunded by check. A $5 per class, per participant processing fee will be deducted from all refund requests, even if the refund remains as a household credit. Refunds of $100 or less may be retained as household credits to be used towards registration in future Community Services programs. Credits of $15 or less must be used within one year. Credits of $16 - $99 are valid for three years. SPECIAL NEEDS ACCOMMODATIONS The Community Services Department offers a wide variety of programs, classes, and activities. If you or a family member have special needs, and an interest in any of the classes or programs we offer, please call Community Services at (909) 364-2710. Our Class Coordinator will be happy to discuss accommodations that can be made to help you, or your family member, feel comfortable participating. Persons with mobility, sensory, cognitive limitations, or other concerns should not hesitate to contact our staff.
